Your favorite rap and hip hop artists/songs?
Alright I really apologize for asking this in R P, but the good people at Hip Hop Rap were a little uncivilized. I tried to ask for some help finding new rap music based on what I like, and they weren't much help. So I guess I'll ask Rock and Pop what their favorite rap artists songs are. I like stuff like Atmosphere and Gang Starr, so If you could suggest me some good underground or old school, that'd be great. And I'd really prefer if it had meaning, unlike Lil Wayne or Wiz Khalifa who suck donkey balls I should also add that I like Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Jay Z. They are pretty much the only newer popular ones that I like. I get a lot of crap for liking Kanye West but I think he has so much more talent than all of those new rappers that just talk about drugs and " swag" Courtesy Flush I agree with you 100 %My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and College Dropout are two out of the five rap CDs I own. The former, is also his best album in my opinion. It had so much diversity and a lot of good quality songs. 808's had a few good songs. I especially like Street Lights for some reason. I also agree that Late Registration and Graduation were not up to his standard. He started to get into all of that poppy autotune stuff.

Is there any radio stations (online or otherwise) that do anything for local hip hop artists in Columbus, Ohio?
Of course i know there is a hip hop station for the columbus area but come on anyone who listens to REAL rap music knows the crap on the radio these days isnt worth a damn. But there has got to be somthing like that around in my area for local rappers. 99.7 the Blitz has local stuff show for rock music but it seems us rappers have been left out in the wind. Any advise or tips would be appreciated thanks
